2121 (Abingdon) Squadron RAF Air Cadets provides amazing opportunities and lifelong memories for its Cadets. Whether this be engaging Parade Nights, twice a week, or weekend activities from flying and gliding, to weapons and adventure training. If you are aged 12 or over, and in (at least) Year 8 at school, and under the age of 18, you are eligible to join.
Being a member of the RAF Air Cadets as a Volunteer is a rewarding and enjoyable experience, and you do not need any previous military experience. Everybody has skill sets which can be valuable to the running and provision of the Squadron, and providing the Cadets with some great opportunities. As a Squadron, we are always looking for Guest Speakers to come and share their knowledge and experiences with Cadets. We primarily focus on military, STEM, and public service experts, but if you think you have skills which you would like to share please complete the form.
Being an air cadet has opened doors to get experience in a wide range of skills and experiences on and off Squadron. I have grown personally, emotionally and have made some life long friends.
